Rachel Boone
Rachel Boone received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Avila University. Rachel utilizes a client-centered and collaborative approach. Rachel strives to create a warm and supportive environment where clients can open up and comfortably explore any concerns.
Rachel has experience treating issues related to anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, self-esteem, life transitions, identity development, school issues, and more. With her experience at a Kansas City school district and an anxiety IOP group, she is especially passionate about working with children, teens, and young adults.
Rachel sees children, teens, adults, and couples. Rachel is an LGBTQ+ ally and welcomes clients of all backgrounds. Beyond the client-centered approach, Rachel strives to meet the needs of her clients using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness techniques, and more.
In her free time Rachel likes traveling, sand volleyball, brunch, cuddling with her cat Moira, and spending time with friends & family
