Play Therapy

Because play is children’s primary mode of communication, play therapy successfully helps children to work through issues and learn new skills through play. It also serves as a window into what may be going on with your child. This may include a blend of both individual sessions with your child and parent consultations or sessions that include the child and other members of the family. Research supports the effectiveness of play therapy with a wide variety of social, emotional, behavioral, and learning problems including, but not limited to:

Life-stressors
Traumatic experience
Behavioral problems
Attachment issues

Theories of use include:

If you have a specific issue that you want dealt with or a specific theory or play psychology you would like your therapist to use, just us know so that we can find you a therapist that is the best fit. We look forward to working with you soon.

This group is designed for those interested in sharing and exploring themes of faith and the deconstruction of faith traditions, who might otherwise fear judgment or alienation as a consequence of being honest.
